An Evening with Friends

The theme "Hope and a Future" reflects the optimism we feel about what God has planned for FCS in the coming years.  Over the course of a half-century, FCS has created a legacy built around an exemplary academic program taught from a Biblical worldview.  It is our belief that a focus on the whole child leads us to create an educational program that will foster the academic, spiritual, and social development of each student.

This year's Fund a Need reflects our commitment to bringing expanded educational opportunity to our students and teachers in three ways:

**Provide each K-8 teacher with instructional and monitoring digital devices (Chrome Books) along with instructional training through Google Certifications and grade/subject specific professional development to fully integrate technology resources and maximize student engagement. 

Estimated Cost = $25,000

**Expand available K-8 student digital devices by purchasing an additional 5 class sets of Chrome Books. 

Estimated Cost = $25,000

**Purchase additional instructional and classroom resources to support student learning and to facilitate classroom innovation, including:

        o   Art carts and creative materials for both preschools

        o   Collaborative furnishing/seating

        o   Expanded robotics and science materials

        o   Subject specific resource materials

Estimated Cost = $25,000 plus

We recognize that the educational experience at Friends is primarily formed by the engagement of each student with his or her teacher.  We want to give our teachers the resources and training each needs to fully equip the students in their care.  In addition, we want our classroom furnishings, fixtures, and resources to facilitate quality education and innovative teaching practices.
